The government of guinea has reached a framework agreement with aluminum corporation of China (chalco) on the exploitation of 131 bauxite ore
The government of guinea and the aluminum corporation of China (chinalco) signed a framework agreement in Beijing on October 31 to contract for the development of the 131 bauxite mine in bokai, guinea, the government said in a statement on its official website.
In accordance with the framework agreement, chinalco plans to complete a feasibility study of the 131 bauxite project within the next six months.
In the agreement, the two sides reaffirmed their strong intention to proceed with the 131 bauxite project.
President conte attended the signing ceremony and witnessed this historic moment. Guinea’s minister of geology and mineral resources magassouba and chairman of aluminum corporation of China ge honglin signed the agreement on behalf of guinea and China respectively.
