How to classify aluminum profile models

July 24, 2020 user Comments Off

Aluminum models are classified according to usage, alloy composition, and surface treatment.

According to the alloy composition, it is divided into alloy grade aluminum profiles such as 1024, 2011, 6063, 6061, 6082, and 7075. Among them, the 6 series is the most common.

The difference between the different grades is that the proportions of various metals are different. Except for the commonly used door and window aluminum profiles such as 60 series, 70 series, 80 series, 90 series, curtain wall series and other architectural aluminum profiles, industrial aluminum profiles are not clear. Models are distinguished, and most manufacturers process them according to the actual drawings of customers.

Classified by purpose:

  1. Architectural aluminum profiles (divided into two types of doors and windows and curtain walls).
  2. Radiator aluminum profile.
  3. General industrial aluminum profiles: Mainly used for industrial production and manufacturing, such as automated machinery and equipment, the skeleton of the enclosure, and the company’s customized mold opening according to their own mechanical equipment requirements, optional assembly line conveyor belts, hoists, and glue dispensing Machines, testing equipment, shelves, etc., are mostly used in the electronic machinery industry and clean rooms.
  4. Aluminum alloy profiles for rail vehicle structure: Mainly used for rail vehicle body manufacturing.
